Non conference Game 2.
Highlights:
Another Powerplay and short handed goal in this game. Our effort and play were better this game than the last one but came out a little flat. Losing Tabrum early in the game on a weak call hurt our depth at forward. Defense needs to make smarter passes getting out of our zone, but overall there was great effort. We still need more shots on net, need to practice getting the breakouts faster and defensive positioning.
Individual stats-
Dominic Steel with 4 pts on 4 assists, Cody Johnson 2 goals and an assist, Garrett Orth with a goal and an assist and Max Lovato with a goal.
The Teal line was a +3 and the red line a -3.

Game 1 - Coronado 7- Liberty 3
AKA The battle of the Tabrums....
Highlights: Good effort for our first game against a Liberty team with a short bench.
We had 2 Powerplay goals and one short handed goal. 50 shots on net. We came out a bit slow in the first but players got comfortable in the 2nd and started playing better.
8 Penalties is more than I would like to see.
Tucker Bloom lead the effort with 4 pts( 1g, 3 asst)
Cody Johnson and Alex Thomas each added 2 goals.
Johnson, Beaubien, Steel, Gillis, Bloom and Lovato were a +2.
